A navigation bar like the one below can be put at the bottom of each page of a website.
Hyperlinks are used to navigate from one part of a web page to another, from one page of a website to another and from one website to another site on the internet.
An anchor word like this one below goes at the top of a page linked to a hyperlink word at the bottom of the page.
HyperlinksIn this dummy code, the previous, next and contents links all go to the same links page. Edit the link code to replace the name linkspage.html with the name of the page the link leads to.
Keep the navigation bar brief, mainly for linking to other part of the page. Use a contents list on the home page to link the other pages together. Other pages link back to it. So only the one contents list has to be updated.
Although this page is short, the top link can be tested by watching how the cursor moves to the start of the bold anchor word Hyperlinks, or by dragging the bottom of the window up.
This word links to an anchor at the top of the same page.
See hyperlinks.html for more hyperlink navigation code.
